It all started with a swipe! Angela and David met on Hinge during the pandemic. Angela was immediately drawn to David's silly prompts and goofy photos - so much so that Angela (who is chronically shy) messaged him first! When David asked Angela on a date, there were crickets - he was concerned that she ghosted him. He quickly found out that it was because a video game that Angela preordered finally came out, and she had been completely locked in (oops). David was relieved and, after finding she loved video games as much as he did, he knew that she was special. After 18 months of action-packed weekends, studying, and graduating college, Angela and David embarked on two major milestones - moving into their townhouse together, and adopting their bunny, Maple Pancakes! Once they were settled into their new lives as bun-parents and were comfortable in their careers, David decided it was a great time to take the next step with a proposal. Utilizing pesky targeted ads and some expert sleuthing from Abby, David successfully designed the perfect ring for Angela (who at this point definitely knew what was coming). David chose Artist's Bluff for the proposal due to its beautiful views, as it is considered one of the most culturally significant areas in New Hampshire. David's priority was choosing an area whose beauty compared to his soon-to-be fiancée's. After a quick hike, Angela getting surprised by her closest friends, and a man climbing up the cliff face mid proposal, the couple was engaged! Although their relationship began in unsure times, they knew that they were sure about each other. They are each other's gaming partner, sous chef, best friend, and soon-to-be forever life partner. Join them in August of 2026 as they say, "I Do" and begin the rest of their lives together.

Our Wedding Party

Angela met Abby way back in freshman year during their ENG101 class. They sat next to each other, bonded over a group project, and the rest is history! Fast forward six years, Abby is a co-maid of honor in Angela & David's wedding and an awesome friend.

Abby Briggs

Angela met Elise during their freshman year of college, and they later became suitemates. Fun fact: Angela actually FaceTimed Elise right before her first date with David and gave her a huge peptalk—and now Elise is a co–maid of honor in their wedding! The two have bonded over their shared love of emo music and playing video games. 

Elise Stanbury

David and Kevin met on their first day of college, where they coincidentally lived next door to each other in Fox Hall. From day 1 they became fast friends and spent a majority of their college either gaming, playing intramural sports, or hanging out together until they finally became roommates their Junior year. Once Angela and David started dating, Kevin and Angela quickly became friends and the three of them were inseparable. Kevin is a family favorite and is loved by Maple Pancakes.

Kevin Logli

David and Benny have been partners in crime since they were kids, and would always get up to mischief online or during their yearly family vacations in Cape Cod. From calling each other up to play Call of Duty Mobile in 2015, to playing Xbox together, they never failed to maintain constant communication despite living over three hours away from each other. 

Benedetto Cortina

David met Josh in 6th grade, where they began their friendship through playful banter. After becoming closer friends they began playing videogames together on their Xbox 360s, and never stopped gaming together 10+ years later. From gaming in middle school to being roommates (twice!) in college, Josh solidified himself as one of David's closest and most important friendships.

Joshua Fitzgibbons

David met Patrick in 6th grade where they became best friends. Patrick and David were inseparable and did everything together throughout middle and high school, from gaming, taking drivers ed, playing on several soccer teams, and working at Dominos, it only made sense that they'd go on to be roommates in college. Patrick quickly became a family favorite and is one of David's closet friendships.

David and Matt met in second grade when they were on the same soccer team, and have been friends ever since. From soccer, to playing videogames, to slingin' pizzas together at Dominos, Matt and David have been friends through every stage of their lives and has been David's longest friendship.

Maple Pancakes came into David and Angela's lives at a time where she was needed most, and quickly became the princess of their castle. Weighing just over two pounds, she has tons of personality and sass (like her bun Mom) and is the star of the show when friends and family come over.

We have reserved a room block for our guests at The Common Man Inn which is steps away from our venue. When booking a room over the phone, please mention that you are a part of the Chernicki-Barry wedding to reserve a room from the block. Please note that there is a two-night minimum stay due to the time of year.

Located in Claremont, 27 miles from Mount Tom, Claremont Motor Lodge has accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. The property is around 28 miles from Lake Sunapee Golf Course, 29 miles from Dartmouth College and 10 miles from Mount Ascutney. The hotel has family rooms. The rooms come with a private bathroom with a bath, free toiletries and a hairdryer. At the hotel, every room comes with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Quechee Gorge is 14 miles from Claremont Motor Lodge, while Dorsey Park is 23 miles from the property. Lebanon Municipal Airport is 26 miles away.

The hotel is minutes away from the historic Claremont Opera House multipurpose venue and the Twin State Speedway racetrack. Dartmouth College is 25 miles away. Visitors will enjoy taking a trip to nearby Arrowhead Recreation Area, which has a number of ski slopes and hiking trails. Historic downtown Claremont is lined with antique shops, specialty stores, restaurants, sidewalk cafes and entertainment venues.
